"Waterfield Young is the creative collaboration of Nancy Waterfield and Wendy Young. We make our paper from pure cotton pulp using a western style paper making process; couching and manipulating the wet cotton pulp after it is pulled from the bath over our sculpted tiles, letters, rocks, or other objects to create each original composition. Color is applied to each using dyes, acrylic paint, and glazes prior to being sealed. Our experimentation with paper began 20 years ago and continues with each piece."
